SummitCloud Takes Grand Prize at Microsoft’s BizSpark Camp in NYC

Held to raise awareness of Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform, more than 20 software startup companies participated in BizSpark Camp where the technology startups pitched their applications to a panel of judges consisting of Microsoft representatives, venture capitalists, analysts and angels. “We used stringent criteria to determine the winners including capabilities of the founding team, market and competitive understanding, and degree of technical innovation,” said Larry Gregory, senior director of U.S. Partner Evangelism at Microsoft and coordinator of the event. “We were pleased to see the Giza application leveraging Windows Azure to address a compelling customer scenario.
