Datavibes expands international base with Valvoline and Piaggio.
PITTSBURGH, Penn., Feb 11, 2010 Datavibes, Inc. has expanded its international business portfolio by adding Kentucky-based Valvoline and Italian LCV maker (light commercial vehicle) Piaggio to its client list. Datavibes will provide Vendor analytics and Marketing ROI tracking applications to Valvoline, both for its India and Kentucky operations to manage its global vendor network and marketing budget. After conducting an analysis of the existing client infrastructure and business user needs, the SAP platform was chosen to deploy the applications. Arvind Handu, Managing Director at Datavibes credits the win to the innovative applications that Datavibes developed for Valvoline. Growing its manufacturing client base, Datavibes also expanded its footprint in the Piaggio account, an Italy-based manufacturer of LCVs and scooters. Piaggio’s management has the opportunity to capitalize on the rising energy costs with their fuel-efficient product line. There is a burgeoning demand for such products in high density markets like South East Asia. Datavibes will be powering Piaggio’s ambition of becoming the people and goods mover of choice by driving efficiency and insight into their expanding dealer network and after sales support operations. Dealer effectiveness and promotion evaluation applications will be developed for the client to help them understand how to increase market penetration and gain share while keeping costs under control.
